Ajay is a development professional having 10+ years of experience of working in various sectors. Some of the key sectors of his work are health, education, Panchayati raj, rural development, tribal development, CSR, livelihood, law & justice, Urban development and decentralized governance. Ajay is well versed with the skills sets of project management, monitoring and evaluation, training and capacity building, research and surveys, planning and budgeting. He has managed more than 30 long term and short term projects with government departments, ministries, NGOs and Corporates. He has managed projects of multilateral and bilateral organizations like MoPR, DoLJ, UDD and Home Department, DoRD GoG, Planning Commission, UNDP, CUTS International, MISEREOR, Gujarat Police Academy, Anti Corruption Bureau.
Following are some of the key projects that he has managed.
- Five Year Perspective Planning of Dang and Narmada Districts under BRGF schemes for the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, GoI.
- Development of 700+ Training Modules on Major Acts, Minor Acts and police subjects for the newly recruited DySPs, PSIs and Constables for Gujarat Police Academy.
- Preparing 250+ Paralegal Volunteers through training, facilitation and handholding in the three regions Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh of the J&K state for the Department of Law and Justice, GoI.
- Documentation of Best Governance Practices adopted by various departments of Government of Gujarat under Swantah Sukhay Projects.
- Translation of 200+ training modules on the election processes and government functionaries for the Chief Electoral Officer, Gujarat.
